I am having a great time getting back into shape. I have been a thrower for over 35 years. I attended Mt. Vernon Township High School where I still hold the 2nd longest shot put throw in school history and was recently inducted into the school’s Sport Hall of Fame. Later at Southern Illinois University, where I threw three events, I made the all-time top 10 list in hammer and 35lb weight. As a masters athlete, I have medaled in USTATF Nationals in shot put, and throwing pentathlon. I am currently coach high school throwing events in North Carolina.
