Hi there,
I am a relatively new Masters athlete from Great Britain and about to sign up.
I have noticed that there are in fact three listings for myself all with various age groups from M35 to my correct M58 category.
My question is do I have to go and submit every performance from the other age groups (M52 and M35) for my correct one (M58) or is there any method of you being able to merge the records from all three into one record ?
Many thanks in anticipation
Paul Masterton
Hello Paul, hope you, your family and friends are well and safe. We have a means to merge your records. Please click on a performance related to each of the other listings. Times, heights, distances and scores are links to the report error form which make it easy for you to report and for us to correct.
How do you or we secure the …honesty of the results’ submission?
Hello Stelios, hope you, your family and friends are well and safe. About 98.7% of the results come from national lists or meet results sent to us or found on the web. Athlete submissions are replaced by results from those sources. All listed results are subject to verification, regardless of source. This is done in several ways including athletes reporting performances they think are not accurate and programs that we have identifying performances to be checked. The latter is constantly being improved and we hope mostly automated in the near future.
Dear Sportsfriends,
My friends and myself from Germany (Sinzig) are registered for the above mentioned event.
We transact our competion in our “Rhein-Ahr Stadion” in Sinzig (near Bonn and Koblenz) in Category A.
My Question:
We are planning to operate our wirft penthalon including the separate five competions on three different days between 18th July and 2nd August.
F. e. Short Put and Discus Throw on 20th July, Javelin Throw on 22nd July, Hammer- and Weight Throw on 24th July (last but not least depending on weather-situation).
Is that conform to the regulations?
We are very happy to be in this event.
Thanks and best whishes
Yours Wolfgang

Many months on from previous correspondence …. you have introduced virtual contests (a very good move) but for the life of me cannot find anywhere that I can enter results of recent virtual competition runs. There is a window saying Enter Results but this comes with a big warning NOT to enter virtual results here – but does not point to where virtual results should be entered. Totally flummoxed. HELP.
Sorry for the confusion, Tony. The easiest way to submit your results is use the link that came in your confirmation email (I will resend).
We, Team Panama, really enjoyed being part of Hemispheres II, and looking forward to next year’s competition. Be well and stayed safe, as we are doing our best in this pandemic. Blessings to all the organizers.
Hi,
Five of our athletes participated in the Worldwide Masters Virtual Challenge entitled Trinidad and Tobago Hemisphere Challenge 2020 on October 17th 2020.
The results were submitted on 17th and 19th October. On checking the recently released results on your website, however, the performances for two athletes were excluded: SUSANNAH JOEFIELD and CHERYL REYES. Please advise.
You are on the wrong website. Results submissions for the Worldwide Masters Virtual Challenges are made on that website (https://worldwidevirtualmasterschallenge.com/). Anything regarding that should also be addressed using the Contact Us page on that site (https://wvmc.mastersrankings.com/contact-us/).
I’d like to send in results of our next meet here in Honolulu with the Hawaii Masters Track Club. There will likely be 5-10 athletes doing three throws. Can I submit the results here?
Hello Vincent, hope you, your family and friends are well and safe. Use either from the “Submit Complete Meet Results” section above.
Hand time conversion for 400m and up is .14. not .24
Seems the latter is occurring on this site for 400m…?
Hello Matt, hope you, your family and friends are well and safe. There is no rule for converting non-FAT performances except for scoring combined events. Our policy ( https://mastersrankings.com/policies/ ) reflects electing to use the more conservative IAAF combined event adjustment which we feel is appropriate for masters competitions. Several masters athletes told us they thought that non-FAT performances should be excluded from Rankings lists. We did not think that was fair as the non-FAT performances are legitimate but possibly not as accurate as FAT. We looked at what difference 0.50 seconds would make to the Rankings – it made a difference to 6 positions out of over 36,000 so, in our opinion, justified our belief non-FAT performances should be included. For clarity, we refer to these times as non-FAT since adjustments are made to any performance that wasn’t FAT (all timing equipment, including starter, connected electronically). Hope this clarifies.
