Born May 26, 1948, Lake Charles, LA. Graduated La Grange HS & attended McNeese SU. Returned to pole vault after a 49 yr. 9 mo. sabbatical on December 10, 2016. Took time off from this sport, again, January through December 2018, to recover from heart by-pass surgery...first competition upon resumption was December 8, 2018. Life presents detours, but pole vault is my passion!
