Harald van Gils, NED - M50

I've been running since I was about 15 years old. Soon after I became member of an athletics club, and have been running ever since. After my 40th I've made a big leap in my physical and mental development and crushed all my PB's from 5k to 10 EM and started running (half) marathons. I also participated in my first European championships in Izmir (Turkey) and did the outdoor national championships in 2015, 2016 and from 2021-2024, the indoor national championships in 2022 and 2024 and the cross national championships in 2020, 2022, 2023 (2x). Lately I've specialized in middle distance (800/1500m), my strongest distances. My results: national champion (gold) steeple chase 3000 m in 2024, silver: 800 m in 2021, 2022, 2024 (outdoor), bronze: 400 meter, 800 meter in 2023 and 1500 meter in 2024 (outdoor). Also bronze 1500 meter indoor in 2024. Next goals are national championships cross December 2024, indoor February 2025, outdoor June 2025 and European championships October 2025 in Madeira (Spain).
