I threw Discus mainly in HS and College (Cortland State in NY). Picked it back up again as I was approaching age 60 and have thoroughly enjoyed competing once again. Started out just throwing discus, then added shot put and now am enjoying trying to learn the nuances of the Ultra Weight Pentathlon. There is a great camaraderie among all the throwers I have met and that has made this journey even more fun!! I hope to keep throwing 'til they bury me...
